It is well known that the performance of a ship may deteriorate over time due to fouling of the hull and propeller. The SeaTrend system provides the technical manager with measures of current performance which enables the technical manger to plan for the optimal hull and propeller cleaning periods.

Voyage monitoring and voyage efficiency is important aspects for the ship operator. The SeaTrend system helps the operator to determine whether the ship performs as expected both in terms of speed and fuel consumption.
